What is Quality Agriculture? Quality is a broad concept. With respect to agriculture,
it generally means the production of food that is healthy for consumers and animals,
limits environmental harm to the extent possible, is humane for workers, animals and plants,
provides fair wages to producers, and supports rural communities and traditions. Key characteristics include sustainability,
preservation, biodiversity, economic viability, and social justice. Quality production can involve the use of technology, both in inputs and production processes.
